ANZAC FRIDAYY

WREATH LAYING

  • Memorial Service and wreath laying at the Queens Gardens,
  •  14 km walk this morning,
  • A lovely walk around the Dunedin Botanical Gardens,
  • A pick up the car by Colin, then a coffee together in town at a Cafe,
  • A drive to the Speights pure water tap to fill up our water bottles for the week, then into the Speights Breweries Shop to buy Colin 2 x warm woollen pairs of Speights socks,
  • Visit to the Cemetery with flowers for my Mum & Ted, in remembrance of them – Lest we not forget 🙂
  • Pick up some scrap food from our local supermarket,
  • A trip to the Tip recycled shop – I picked up 3 x sets of steel knitting needles and a nice yellow vintage cake plate,
  • Home out of the cold, a nice hot shower,
  • Light the fire…the day is just about buggered.
Winter flowers for my parents who died a short time after each other. Both had lung cancer.
