I am presently digging up a new plot for another vegetable garden at home. I plan to plant Rainbow Silverbeet again as well as plenty of Maori potatoes. I have been told I am anaemic again so need to increase my iron intake…. Popeye … here I come.
I am almost a vegetarian/Coeliac, therefore NEED to eat plenty of greens. The photos of the Rainbow Silverbeet, Colin and I took on our recent stay in Moeraki, we went to the ‘Riverstone Kitchen’ Cafe/Restaurant & Gardens just out of Oamaru. While there viewing their gift shops and plants we had a luke warm coffee 😦 The wonderful gardens, atmosphere and their vegetable gardens they use for their restaurant certainly made up for it. I had to take a snap of the colourful stems.
